Nico made us some really nice cucumber margaritas. He recommended a roll which was massive and really good. I believe it was called the Dragon Roll. They have a ton of drink specials during the week which is great. Lots of big screen TV's. It's a huge restaurant, wasn't too crowded when we went. I hope more people catch on to this place!

Great place for a group party. Our server Luis or Lewis sorry not sure. He was amazing. He did above and beyond to make sure our party was taken care of. We came here to celebrate my friends birthday and it was so much fun. Pretty much bar food and good drinks. Happy hour is a great deal. Thanks for the fun night

If you're looking for a fun atmosphere, solid food, and endless tequila, this is your spot! I came in here on a Monday evening in time for their Happy Hour (Mon-Friday 3pm- 7pm), and it was also Margarita Monday. Bartender was really friendly and attentive, and made a damn good margarita! Definitely give them a try if you haven't already!

I think I was more excited to see what inside than how I felt in the end. Got mixed feelings as it looks more like a bar rather than Mexican restaurant. Loved the authenticity though. Loves the skills, graffitis on the walls and Hispanic music. Food was delicious, me and my pals took tacos and burritos, and we loved them. Of course I tried fish and shrimp tacos, as they are my favorite, and also a pint of margarita, classic one. Cool spot to spend time with friends!

The best Mexican restaurant in Santa Monica, despite being over the street from El Cholo! The food is ready good, great menu selections, delicious and very reasonably priced. But the food is not the main reason to eat here. The staff are the best! So friendly and accommodating. They really make every meal a delight! Special shout out to Andrea and the managers, Roberto and Blanca...

We got there probably right when they just opened for lunch on a Thursday so we were seated quickly. I love the ambiance, the Spanish music playing (loud enough to keep your shoulders swaying yet soft enough to have great conversations with my friend without having to yell across the table), the location (I think 11+ blocks from the beach), the parking (found parking in the rear), our waiter (shoutout to Carlos), and fer shur, the food that we ordered. Everything was yummerz!! We had ceviche. It was a mountain of shrimps. Definitely a great way to start our meal. Then I had the barbacoa plate and my friend had carnitas tacos. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The thought of that barbacoa is making me salivate as I write this review. And of course, the drinks.....I had tamarindo michelada and my friend had the mango one. If you like the sourness of tamarindo and sweetness of mango combined with beer, then these drinks are for you. And lastly, we ended our meal with "La Ultima Palabra," a drink recommended by our waiter (shoutout to Carlos again!) We'll definitely have to come back to try other dishes and their drinks (which btw they have a bar).
